BBQ Ribs

I don't buy ribs often. I find it's too much work for a little amount of meat. I'm not knocking them by any means, it's just not for me all the time. However, I bought these because I had a coupon! I wanted to find a recipe that didn't require for them to be boiled or put in the oven prior. I know skipping this step would not make them as tender, but I was willing to accept that. I used a dry rub from "art of manliness", however I made some changes to the way it was cooked. See below:

BBQ Ribs
Dry Rub:
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1/4 cup of paprika
3 tablespoons of pepper
3 tablespoons of salt
2 teaspoons of garlic powder
2 teaspoons of onion powder
1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper

Sauce:
Lemon Juice
BBQ Sauce

Clean your ribs of any access fat. Blot the ribs dry. Apply your dry rub to both sides of the ribs. If there are left overs (there will be depending on how many ribs you are making) just put into a ziploc bag and label for next time! Sprinkle on some lemon juice and add some more dry rub.
Put onto a BBQ warmed to medium temperature. Cook each side for 10-15 minutes. Turn off heat to one side of the BBQ. Move the ribs to the turned off side. Coat each side in BBQ sauce. Cook each side for another 20 minutes. Cut and serve.
