Brown Butter Cream Cheese Chocolate Chip Cookies

I guess it was cream cheese week over here in Miss Bri's Kitchen. This recipe I found while searching for ways to use up my cream cheese, however, I wasn't too fond of how the original recipe it turned out. So, I made some changes that I definitely think improved the recipe. Credit is to Becky Bakes, however I do feel my changes made the cookies more moist. Here it is!

Brown Sugar Cream Cheese Chocolate Chip Cookies
3/4 cup of butter
3 oz of cream cheese (approximately 1/3 of the brick)
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup of sugar
1 egg
2 1/2 cups of flour
1/4 cup of milk
1 tsp of vanilla
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of baking soda
1 1/2 cups of chocolate chips

Brown the butter in a saucepan and set aside to cool. Cream together butter, cream cheese and sugars until smooth. Add egg and mix until fluffy. Slowly add the flour, salt and baking soda until just combined. Mix in the milk and vanilla. Do not over mix. Chill for a few hours or over night. (If you can wait that long!)
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Roll dough into medium sized balls (approximately  1/2 - 3/4 tbsp) and place on parchment lined baking sheet. Flatten slightly. Bake for 8-12 minutes, or until golden brown around edges. Transfer immediately to cooling rack. Store in air tight container.
