Iced Chocolate Chip Cookies

As previously stated, I love Pinterest. It's a great way to find new recipes, pin my recipes, or follow fellow bloggers. Sally's Baking Addition is my role model. This is what she does for a living! Good for her. This recipe below is a combination of two of her recipes. My intention was to make a creme filled cookie, however, the creme turned more into an icing (I suspect because I used milk instead of creme), so I improvised! Also, these cookies were huge! Much too big to have more then one at a time. So, the recipes are below:

Iced Chocolate Chip Cookies
Cookie:
2 1/4 cups of flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoon of cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon of salt
3/4 cup of melted butter
3/4 cups of brown sugar
1/2 cup of sugar
1 whole egg
1 egg yolk
2 teaspoons of vanilla
1 cup of chocolate chips

Icing:
3 tablespoons of butter
2/3 cups of icing sugar
1 tablespoon of milk
1/4 teaspoon of vanilla

Cookie:
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Combine flour, baking soda, corn starch and salt. Add melted butter and sugars. Mix thoroughly. Add egg, egg yolk and vanilla. Mix together, careful not to over mix. Fold in chocolate chips. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Roll together 3 tablespoons of the dough. Press down slightly. Bake for 11-12 minutes. Cool on cookie sheet for 10 minutes. Then, transfer to cooling sheet.
Icing:
Mix butter until creamy. Add in icing sugar. Beat thoroughly for approximately 1 minute. Add milk and vanilla. Mix together, scrapping down the sides if required. Add additional milk if too thick, or add additional icing sugar if too thin.

Frost cookies once completely cool.
