Cream Cheese Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

My next recipe I want to share with you all is Cream Cheese Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies. I know, it's a mouthful! It's not overly sweet in anyway and was very easy to make. We only ever buy the whipped peanut butter (it's the same price and so fluffy!) so, I think it really helped make the cookies that much more light. I found this recipe after my boyfriend suggested to make peanut butter cream cheese cookies, so I googled and then made some minor changes. The recipe is as follows:

Cream Cheese Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies:
3 oz cream cheese (which is approximately 1/3 of the brick it comes in)
1/2 cup of softened butter
3/4 cup of peanut butter
1/2 cup of sugar
3/4 cup of brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla
2 1/4 cups of flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/4 - 1/2 cup of chocolate chip cookies (depending on how much you want)
Extra sugar for rolling
Preheat heat oven to 350° F.
Cream together cream cheese, butter and peanut butter until smooth. Then add 1 egg at at a time until fully combined. It will be very liquidy it at this point. Add the vanilla, both sugars (white and brown). Beat again until all incorporated. Add flour and baking soda until combined. Then add your chocolate chips for one final combination.
Add your extra sugar to a bowl. Make our cookie dough into balls and then roll in the sugar. Place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet approximately 1 - 1 1/2 inches apart. Criss cross your cookie balls with a fork.Bake for 8-10 minutes. Cool for 2 minutes on the baking sheet, then transfer to a wire cookie rack to finish cooling. Make sure to store in an air tight container for freshness.
